Description
A weight that sits comfortably on the back (or in the palm) of the hand. Ideal for fine motor activities or developing strength. Secured with Velcro around the wrist and 2 elastic finger loops that fit over the index and ring fingers. Enables the fingers to move freely while giving proprioceptive input. Filled with steel shot. Suitable for both the left or right hand.
These weights are great for helping stabilise a hand tremor. They can also help to raise awareness of the hand and its position in relation to the body. Great for use with people with Parkinson's, Autism, stroke patients, essential tremor. Available in 150, 250, and 400 gram weights. The 400gram weight is an adult sized hand weight and the 150gram and 250gram weights are suitable for children.
