Thank you, my son loves his taonga. The twist is a beautiful shape popular in Māori carving, it is in keeping with the pounamu and bone taonga that he already has…but he can chew it!

Took a beating a bit too soon

I loved this design for the cultural relevance but unfortunately it wore very quickly & we only had two uses for this before it had to be discarded.

it's fine

it works for what I need but the "break away" necklace doesn't break away very well unless you pull down on it but if someone is actually trying to take it from you they're more likely to pull out than down.

Thanks for your review. I agree it is difficult to know how any break away clasp is going to be pulled, and by how much force. The clasp is designed to help prevent injury, but we would always recommend for the wearers of the chewable necklaces to be supervised by an adult.
