We're glad to hear that it has been helpful in keeping your daughter from biting her fingernails and keeping her mouth happy and busy. We can appreciate that the squeaking sound could be annoying for others. It doesn't happen for everyone, it will be just the particular way in which your daughter chews. We suggest trying a firmer chew and possibly different shapes to see if they work better, especially given that parts of the chew were bitten off quite quickly. This will happen with heavy chewers and a medium chew. However, in saying that, you did start with the correct level of chew for a trial.
