The inmuRELAX looks like a small soft cushion, but it is so much more. Suitable for all ages and stages, the inmuRELAX is an electronic and interactive sensory tool that vibrates softly in time with the soothing and meditative music it plays. Place the inmuRELAX anywhere on your body and feel the vibration and soothing sounds calm the body. Some have said that it feels like the "purr" of a kitten.
The inmuRELAX music mirrors your body movements. Keep completely still and the music cycles through subtle changing sounds. The music and vibrations quieten gradually, fading out automatically after a few minutes. Slight movement and the inmuRELAX will respond by switching back on with its soothing sounds. Move more rigorously with the inmuRELAX and it will play calming but more complex relaxation music with jingling and chiming sounds in the background. The vibrations from the inmuRELAX will also increase with intensity.
The inmuRELAX has three volume levels that can be adjusted to meet your mood and preference. For those who are unable to hold the inmuRELAX, a specially designed vest strap can be used to keep the inmuRELAX close to the chest.
Use the unmuRELAX at any time during the day or night to calm, relax, or sleep. Its 'pebble' shape allows for easy handling. The inmuRELAX comes with a washable cover and features a pocket to put your hand in. This can give pressure and warmth on the hand for extra comfort, or to allow for the inmuRelax to keep stabilised on the hand for those with fine more control difficulties. It can also be kept in place with the inmu vest, which is similar to a strap to keep it close to the body without dropping it.
The inmuRELAX measures 23 x 20 x 8cm and weighs approximately 470 grams, making it portable and easy to handle. It has a rechargeable battery, which will last over the course of the day or night. The inmuRELAX comes with washable cover. Extra covers or the hygiene cover are also available if required.

4. The inmuRELAX encourages movement. It will jingle and chime when it is moved, which can help to increase an individual's gross motor movement.
5. The inmuRELAX can divert attention for situations that an individual might find particularly difficult during the day e.g. calming while in a hoist, or allowing for the caregivers to brush hair etc.
